NEW YORK — The Asian giant hornet thought to be responsible for a string of violent murders was apprehended by one of the city’s best homicide detective bees this morning.
“I’m happy to say the feared Murder Hornet that has been spilling our citizens’ blood for so long has finally been brought to justice,” said Detective Buzz Honeyman. “Our queens and worker bees can now safely leave their hives to drink their fill of sweet, sweet nectar.”
Sources say the suspect was taken down in an elaborate “sting” operation.
“I’ve taken down bigger scumbags than this before,” said Honeyman. “I think it’s safe to say this murderer will be going to insect prison for a long, long time.”
