Just days after she told Lebron James to “shut up and dribble,” talk show host Laura Ingraham has called on late artist Pablo Picasso to “shut up and scribble.”
Someone needed to take a stand against deceased Spanish painters expressing opinions that she disagrees with.
“People shouldn’t be interested in political advice from someone who gets paid to dribble a ball or paint timeless masterpieces,” said Ingraham. “They should be interested in political advice from someone who gets paid to talk about someone who gets paid to dribble a ball or paint timeless masterpieces.”
It’s a slippery slope. Ingraham went on to say she is concerned that if non-pundits like Picasso and James continue to speak out, then any American might get the idea that it’s okay to express their political opinions.
I thought this was America?!
“I take one look at this barely-intelligible, unartistic Cubism stuff he’s doing and I want to vomit. Take my advice, Pablo, and go back to your doodles or whatever is you artists do. Stay out of politics,” said Ingraham.
“Also, has anyone checked this guy’s green card?” she added. “He sounds like he might be an illegal.”
